You could try 'Hope and Help for your Nerves' by Claire Weeks. Ignore the stupid title and the inaccurate terminology throughout. There are some excellent tips and the book is cheap from Amazon.

You might also look into therapy. The self-help books are tough (for me anyway) to get through without some tailoring to your own situation and a therapist can help with that. I also think that reading about insomnia and sleep just made my situation worse, too!
