Kim...Summer is a great time to try to get off meds because the sunshine (especially early morning exposure) can help you reset your own inner clock which will aid you in trying to sleep naturally. Make sure you don't wear sunglasses when you get that exposure(of course never look directly at the sun) because melatonin production shuts down with the high luxes of natural light(saving it for night when you need it) and serotonin and other good things happen within the body with the natural light. Nature really is the best place to cure insomnia as well as whatever else ails you because exercise also is more beneficial in the better weather...believe Paul referred to this in some of his posts. Anyway, I'll be rooting for you...meanwhile, enjoy those kids...they grow up so fast. J
