Giving up on sleep restriction

Posted by Sleepy Aussie Girl on April 15, 2002 at 16:53:16:

Hi Everyone,

Well, after sticking at it for a while, I realise that sleep restriction is increasing my anxiety rather than reducing it and helping me sleep better. So the last two nights I decided to give it up and go back to my normal bedtime. So far so good, i feel like my sleep is much better. And my body is feeling much more rested. i feel like I just need to work on my anxiety rather than making myself completely exhausted and stressed out. I feel like I'm copping out though. But my sleep was BETTER before I even starting restriction my time in bed!
