Sleep Aussie Girl -- I agree with Kim. Do whatever works for you. Staying up really late was making me pretty stressed out as well, so I moved my bedtime up to 11:00 and my morning get-out-of-bed-time to 6-6:30. So, I guess I'm not really doing the Sleep Restriction program anymore either. But I don't look at it as giving up. I still practice sleep hygiene. If I can't sleep, I get out of bed for a while, even if it is 3:00 in the morning. And I try to keep up my routines to help me relax at night, etc... I'm getting somewhere between 4-7.5 hours of sleep a night. Even though I had a setback last week, the last few nights have been better. I think the important thing is to experiment with many things until you find something that reduces your anxiety so that you sleep better! I'm still working on it, but trying to remain as positive as possible.
