Hooray!! I'm happy to hear that you are sleeping better already. SR is not for everyone. I bailed out after only 4 days or so of attempting SR. I felt gruesome.

My current approach is something that would make the SR folks cringe. I go to bed around 9:30 and read for a bit. The alarm (if it's set at all) is usually set for 6:30. That's a total of NINE hours in bed!!! And it feels wonderful. If I take a while to get to sleep, or if I wake during the night or early, I don't give a rip, since I can tell myself I've got all this extra time. One very important thing is that once in bed, no looking at a clock, EVER.

Of course sometimes I have a later night, but one or two late nights a week doesn't seem to mess up this 'system'. I vary my get out of bed time by maybe an hour at most.

I hope you get some much-deserved rest!

A.N.
