I have pretty much given up too. I still limit my time in bed to 7-7.5 hours, but that is not really sleep restriction. At least this way, if I have trouble falling asleep, I have a little more time to sleep during the night, and this makes me feel a little more relaxed. I had been doing really well until last night, when even though I was so tired that I was nodding off all evening, I kept getting those anxiety rushes as I was falling asleep. I am hoping that it was due to some subconscious tension because I had a big court appearance today for a big client. I ended up taking .25 mg of Klonopin, but if I can sleep with that small a dose, than my anxiety can't be that bad. I definitely think eliminating the clock has been helping. Also, I have found that a warm bath 2 hours before bed is helpful too (although last night it was so hot in NY I think it just made me hotter and more uncomfortable). Liz
