As long as you're sleeping....that is the goal!!! My only question is, what does one do at 4 in the morning? I never think of the "restriction" in the SR regimen, but rather modifying my sleep hours to suit my life....i.e. we're internally programmed to be awake 16 hrs. and asleep 8 hrs.(may vary in some instances). I correspond my bedtime with what time of day I want to get up....again, give or take an hr. or so. If 4am isn't too early for you to be up and about, I'd say you have it beaten....congratulations! Personally, I find the 9pm to midnight hrs. very enjoyable and don't want to sacrifice them and be up too early. If you and your partner are both early risers, you have no problem!!
