Sleep Disorders Clinics

Posted by Melanie on April 17, 2002 at 09:05:57:

I work in a doctor's office where I type in patient notes into the computer everyday....it seems like every time one of our patients goes to the Sleep Disorder Clinics, all they do is recommend one of those CPAP machines.
Do they ever recommend anything else that helps?
I have a bad case of insomnia, and wake up several times a night unless I take an Ambien. I limit my Ambien to 2 nights a week at 5 mg, so I won't become addicted to it.
I would not be able to sleep with something attached to my face all night....what else could they do??
