Yes, Tracy, I find that staying in bed after being awake more than 20 minutes helps me fall asleep. Getting up makes me more awake and makes my anxiety worse. The philosophy that's helped me most during this whole ordeal is,

"If I lay here long enough, I will eventually fall asleep."

This is because I've found this to be true this past month and a half, and my anxiety and mind cannot argue with it. Even if sometimes I lay there for four hours, I will eventually fall asleep. I did have nights of not sleeping at all when this first started, but have found that if I don't let my anxiety take over, I will at least get some sleep every night. So I just lay there until I fall asleep, no matter how long, and don't dare get up unless I need to go to the bathroom! And eventually I just drift off!
