Getting better

Posted by toalan on June 22, 2002 at 21:10:32:

Hello guys, umm lately I have been sleeping much better. before I was sleeping for about only 3 -4 hours a night for about a year straight. But for the past week I have been able to sleep much better about 6 hours or so. Well it seems that what really did the trick was that at the begining of this week my supervisor left the company and I am feeling much more relaxed. I worship my supervisor like a god and even though he always says that I am doing a great job I often feel that he is just beinging nice since he can do twice what I do in half the time. I always suspected that my unhealthy respect for him was perhaps the root of my anxiety and now I am much more aware of it. I still take 7.5 mg of innovane to for sleep but to be honest I do not feel the effects of it. Before I used to wake up at 4 am and not be able to fall asleep, now I often wake at 4:30 but am able to fall alseep till about 6 or 7. Waking up early is still a bit of a problem but sometimes I can sleep a full 6 hours straight without any wakeups so I am pretty sure that I can get back to being a good sleeper. It is amazing how anxiety can effect your health, Now I do not give a crap about anything and just do whatever. Honestly this attitude seems to help. I just hope I do not jinx things by talking about it, but I am pretty sure I am on the road to recovery. I will keep you guys posted on what is going on, I truly hope that I can help others like the way u guys have helped me.

Sincerely,

toalan
