I have been on three meds several times...prescribed by a psychiatrist and my primary care physician. If you read the posts on this site you will note that many people have been prescribed two or more meds. However, I think that most folks eventually burn out on taking so many drugs and sleep is still not 100%. I am currently taking Remeron, Trazadone, and Klonipin. According to some people on this website...that is not a very good combo. I have decided...not based on their input...but my own research to start cutting back on klonipin...then trazadone...until I am only taking Remeron. This is all based on fact that I think Remeron may have a positive impact on my insomnia. If not...guess I will be visiting a new doc and working on a new plan. If you are nervous about taking three meds...nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Sorry, I do not know of a way to check out history of docs but I am sure a little internet research will give you some answers. Best of luck!
