Sadie, Isn't "good health & proper medication" kind of an oxymoron (sp)? To me good health IS NOT having to resort to sleep medication every night.

Most Drs. don't have a clue as to the effects of the medication they hand out. My GP of 20 years who I really like, would give me prescription after prescription of medication that you're not supposed to be on for more then 2 weeks. Not out of malice but ignorance. So while I agree that one should seek medical advice from a licensed professional I would not discount the information people here can share and I would not just take a Drs. word without any independant due diligence.
