they will provide some excellent advise as to tapering off.You will regain your natural ability to sleep...it just takes time. In the mean time maybe your Dr. can prescibe a sedating anti-depressant like trazodone or remeron to help you sleep. The antihistamine phenegan also provides a sedating effect.

Getting off these drugs will probably be the toughest thing you've ever done but once off you will feel a tremendous relief and accomplishment.

You will sleep...it's just gonna take some time. You have been taking the meds for 2 years so it may take a few months. You also need to resolve the underlying cause of your initial insomnia whether it's anxiety, poor sleep hygiene, or some physical issue.
