If you're not sleeping at night(for whatever reason) , you'll feel terrible the next day. Regarding the anxiety, it's like the proverbial cat chasing its tail...insomnia=anxiety=insomnia======! Try not to think about getting back to what you were.....that precludes growth....there's no going back....only going forward with hopefully newly acquired skills and coping mechanisms. The "Say Goodnight to Insomnia" book by G. Jacobs available on this forum is a great self-help tool to get you started on the right track. If you need more help, get thee to a therapist...meds should only be regarded as a short term crutch, not the solution to life problems and stressors.Have confidence in yourself....you can do it!!! J.
