Thank you for that excellent and understandable explanation of how neurotransmitters work. Is that Does the same thing happen with seritonin -- if somebody take prozac or 5-HTP for a ong period will they develop a "tolerance" to it because they have fewer receptors for it?
BTW I've taken ambien for a couple of years but usually 2.5 mg, never more than 5 mg,and never more than 2 nights in a row or 4 times a week.So far 2.5 mg still works.
