Hi,

I'm so glad to hear of your experience and how you were able to get off that nasty drug and that you were able to stay off it all this time. I had been taking ativan (average of 2mg per night) for about 2 1/2 years and had just now been off it entirely for 3 days after cutting down for some time now.

I didn't think I would even be able to sleep without it at all since I hadn't been able to any time I'd tried over the last 2 1/2 years up to this point without meds. But I've been able to actually sleep some, and I'll be able to get all the way throgh the w/d symptoms such as the anxiety and muscle tension/pain.

I'm glad you posted, and I just wanted to add my response and hope that people will see and know that they too can succeed and be able to get their sleep back even when it seems like they're chained to these drugs for life--(another "wonderful" side effect of these drugs which makes it even harder to get motivated enough to taper off them!!!).
