Posted by DavidCalif on July 13, 2002 at 12:28:02:I am interested in hearing from others who are taking zoloft and remeron. I've been taking this combination as prescribed for over 6 months now, along with Norvasc for hypertension, and Allegra-D for allergies.
My problem is that I have fairly normal sleep for 4-5 nights, then very difficult periods of insomnia which leave me sleep deprived, mentally dull, physically aching, and emotionally distraught. It is adversely affecting my relationship, and has often made a career seem like an impossibility. Any information on observed drug-drug interactions with this particular mix are sought to gain understanding of the potential affects of taking this combination of medications. Is it possible that the zoloft and the remeron (both antidepressants) work together in a way which produces these symptoms? Probably the most useful information for me would be a resource so I can review documentation regarding this issue.
Thanks!!
