Yes,

I'm glad I've moved on, too. Well, to tell you the truth, Joanna, I really loved being all crazy on Ambien. That was part of the problem that led to my addiction to Ambien...I LOVED the Ambien high! I've never taken drugs and Ambien was one of the first prescriptions I had even taken in my life...but I loved the feeling it gave me of total relaxation, forgetting any and all problems, and seeing what crazy things I would end up doing.

I would take the Ambien and then purposely stay up waiting for it to hit so that I could feel all care-free and watch the ceiling spin. (: That's when I started to abuse it a little bit...and that's why I had to get off of it in February. To be honest, I miss taking it, but don't miss the rebound insomnia and the zillions of other problems that came with it.

I haven't taken any meds for five months now and I have no intention on starting back up...

By the way, I didn't take Ambien on my trip to Europe...despite the fact that one of the orchestra members had some and offered it to me on the plane. Temptation, temptation...it was like going back to that lame "choices and decisions" class we had to take in seventh grade! Well, I didn't cave in and of that I'm proud!

Paul
