What wonderful musings Neil....insomnia has forced me too to take a different view at this mystery called life!!I am so appreciative of all my blessings now....I've realized also that that elusive peace of mind of which you spoke is indeed attainable...we have to put positive spins on things that happen and love ourselves enough to be kind and gentle with ourselves. I think that generally speaking, insomniacs are very sensitive people who are far more considerate of others than themselves. It's taken me a long time to realize that I have to be good to myself and love myself before I can extend that same response to others. Hope your sleep improves, Neil and keep your musings coming as they force us all to take a reflective look at how we deal with the vicissitudes of life and how best to cope....reaching out compassionately to each other as we do on this forum is a step in the right direction. Bless Sandman/Sandmama for making this forum possible!! Regards, E.
