I've been up all night. I can tell I'm in kind of an obsessive, high anxiety state, entering into the phase of sleeping on alternate nights. I start off the night fairly calm, with my plan of what to do if I don't sleep; however, as the night goes on, the anxiety builds. I know I'm thinking too much about what happened and how I reacted the other 4 times I've been on sleep restriction instead of just accepting what's happening this time. I keep telling myself I can get through it but still it's so difficult. This time is also different because my husband died in February so I'm more alone.
