It always bites when you are going through these stages - I wish I could wave a magic wand for you!!

From personal experience of when things have gotten to the point you are at, I have had to take a day or two off work (either sick leave or annual leave) to just sleep. I don't worry what time of the day or night it is - I let myself sleep. I don't worry whether or not I am in bed, or on the sofa - I let myself sleep. I don't worry if housework needs to be done - I let myself sleep. Even if I am only getting an hour or two every few hours, I give in to it and take as much as I can get. I know this goes against every principle of good sleep hygine, but it is the only way I have been able to cope when things have gotten really bad (..I have been very fortunate not to have gone down the rocky road of meds to this point and this has helped me to avoid that..).

Granted, I don't have a spouse, or children to worry about, but even if you do I'm sure arrangements could be made for at least one day. Again, I know this isn't very practical and is certainly only a short-term solution, but it has helped me to find the strength to fight the next round. Whether it would be a suitable option for you, I don't know.

I really hope things start improving for you soon.
