Lee-----I started with 15mg Remeron. Went to 7 1/2 and finally to 3 1/4. Became more and more sedative as the mg went down. Worked for me. Am now med free and sleep better. From what I understand larger doses are better for depression and smaller dosed are better for insomnia.
