Some thoughts about it all...

Posted by A-B on August 14, 2002 at 00:44:19:

Was thinking about the whole "fighting to stay awake until bedtime" scenario (..then laying there for hours wide awake..), and wondered if that is not part of the problem. We spend all day telling ourselves "STAY AWAKE, STAY AWAKE" and when bedtime finally arrives and we are trying to go to sleep our mind is confused because all day it's been told to "STAY AWAKE" and figures it's just doing what it's been told.

Another thought I had on the subject (..this is where I'm at come 3:45am..) is if it has anything to do with the time of day you are born. I know it probably sounds wierd, but everyone I know who is a "night person" (..not neccessarily an insomniac..) was born in the evening, or very early AM, and all the "morning people" were born - you guessed it - in the morning to lunch time.

Anyway, just thinking out loud...
