About a month ago I was just under a lot of self employed stress with a customer that kept calling me and every free moment I had caused me problems. Initially during this time I didn't have insomnia, but immediately 2-3 days after I felt drained and mentally worn out which then ultimately ended with me getting very little sleep at night.
Originally I lived in the States but unforeseen circumstances ended up me having to move back to Canada and live at home until Sept 2003, I lived with that fact for the last couple years but after what happened a month ago I'd go to bed with anxiety that the next day would be another complete waste, that I'd have a premature awakening and my mind would pressure me into a pill, or that a day would pass and before I knew it, it was bed time again!
I have all my marbles and my family doctor says "change your lifestyle, get off the pills, you don't need them at 24, do you smoke, do you drink, on hard drugs?" The answer to ALL of them is no!
The only things I can change is getting more exercise, I never got much before as I work in computers but now I'm set to walking for at least an hour etc, but other things like getting a job back in the US is out of my control and ability right now and I am finding it VERY hard accepting what I have.
I never was an insomnia before this, I'd get 6:30-8:30 of sleep every night, there were good days and sometimes bad days but everyone has those, but this past month of 2 early morning hospital visitations and 2 family doctor visitations and several trips to the pharmacy for drugs that did more bad than good. Heck I even had blood tests done and all my tests came back negative, nothing was off.
Now here I am in this current state trying to get my mind off things, but being so tired its so very hard.
Hope this information is what ya needed :)
