Thanks heidi2. I have tried all of these. I exercise regularly (3-4x/week at a gym), and Valarium, magnesium and 5htp did absolutely nothing. My routine now is low lights, light reading and a cup of sleepy time tea. I love TV at night, and although I broke down last night and watched it in bed, have been pretty good about
not turning it on. I know this is psychological dependence, but the anxiety I felt last night was so intense. How long will this ambien thing last?
I have tried to take only 5mgs, and it doesn't even touch me. I can't take otc stuff because it takes forever to take effect, doesn''t make me feel like I am sleeping, and stays with me all the next day. I work in a hospital and need to be "on" all day.
