Paf, Your attitude sounds 1000% better. You will get through it and you will enjoy a decent quality of life. When i get down i think of 2 things. 1. Life could always be a lot worse..a lot worse and 2. I have 2 kids who I adore and want to stay around to see them become adults. Bingo.. end of self-pity. hang in there paf, i'm rooting for you !
