still in drugville

Posted by meowza35 on September 14, 2002 at 05:48:58:

I am now taking celexa, haldol, and ativan!!!!!! And to think I continue to tell my daughter about the evils of drugs...hahaha.....her mother is one to talk, although my drugs come from a guy with a PHD!

I went to Chapters in search of that book with no luck...just a bunch of new-age types that tell me to meditate and embrace....if only I could relax enough to do that..

I keep taking the drugs, because I want to keep my job..it's my new mantra...funny how all the people look up to me, trust me with their children, ask me for advice, when inside my head is screaming from the meds...maybe I'm kidding myself and just maybe I should quit my job, who knows...I love kids, though...they make me laugh...make me happy...it's the adults that make me nuts...

For instance...my husband keeps mauling me in search of sex...can he not see how impossible that is for me right now??? That all these drugs impede any hope of having a libido that's functional...???? I am trying to decide what's the worse-case scenario here...taking the drugs so I can go to work, clean the house, be sortuv normal...or maybe getting rid of them all...turn into a crazed idiot that can have sex anytime of day...but can't work in any kind of responsible capacity...what a dilema.....
