Sleep Specialist Opinion

Posted by Zombie King on September 17, 2002 at 13:52:29:

I went to a sleep doc today and he noticed that my airways were blocked and was quick to rule sleep apnea as a culprit. He said that I stop breathing many times during the night. I have to sleep in the sleep center next Tuesday night for confirmation. It takes 2 weeks for the results to come back after that. I don't know if this is the problem since I was able to sleep fine 5 years ago from age 0-29.
Why now? Maybe I have a cold right now? What the hell am I suppose to do for the next three weeks to sleep?
A weird thing happened while I was at the clinic, The receptionist called 2 people to confirm their appointments and both of them had died. Why is Insomnia really not recognized in the medical arena as a real severe problem?
Here you go - take these anti-depressants. B.S. We all are suffering so much. All I can do right now is wait
