Rebound insomnia is when you come off meds and the resultant insomnia is as bad if not worse then the original bout. You're right...benzos can be very bad and result in difficult w/d for some people.The good thing is that you will heal...it just takes time. speaking of which you may have too much time on your hands. Do you exercise..eat right... have something which fulfills you emotionally? Sitting around waiting to get better...nah not a good idea. need to stay active...maybe volunteer someplace. can't dwell on it and feed the insomnia monster.
