This might sound silly, but I've heard that magnetic mattresses are quite helpful for some people with athritis (..as with copper jewellery..).

Also, have you thought about going to a nutritionalist/natropath? Perhaps there are foods you should be eating/avoiding to help your symptoms. I know that increasing the magnesium in my diet has helped substantially with the leg cramps I used to get (sometimes they were so severe I couldn't walk properly for 3 days after an attack).

There are also some very good web-sites on fybromyalgia, and you already know that lack of quality sleep greatly exacerbates it's symptoms (in fact, severe insomnia can even "mimic" this condition). I'm sure you could find some helpful information there, if you have not already.
