Hi Paul and Chris,
Thanks to both of you for the words of encouragement.
Paul, I really needed some reinforcement today of why I am doing this. I got maybe 1 hour of sleep last night and feel like walking hell today. That was on top of less sleep the night before from studying for my exam.
First I need to deal with the rebound stuff and moving. After that I plan on really sticking to the SR program. One step at a time, right?
It is amazing that I still have my sleep doc telling me that Ambien doesn't have any withdrawl effects. I wonder if she has ever visited this website? Maybe if she had she wouldn't keep writing Ambien scripts to people for 4 years. Oh well, perhaps reading about these experiences will warn others of what prolonged use of these pills can do.
Patricia
