Melatonin

Anyone have any experience with melatonin. I have used it for a few nights and it seems to work great. I ran a search on this site and read the posts, melatonin seems to get a mixed reaction from people. Any up to date experiences with anyone using Melatonin? Does anyone know of any new research on it?
