Heidi, your experiences with insomnia so completely mirror my own (especially since you have also suffered with this your entire life).

I think that SR is probably very beneficial for those who have developed insomnia at some point during their lives, but for people like us it really doesn't seem to help. I had 10 years of "forced" sleep hygiene as a child, yet still it made no difference. As an adult I just try to get as much sleep as I can, when I can.

It is great to read that so many people have had such succes with it, however, and I hope that the rest of us will one day discover a trick that works for us.

Best wishes to everyone for a good nights sleep.
