Thanks for writing. Sleep restriction has not worked for me. Also, I don't EVER sleep during the day, never have in ten years. Just not sleepy then. In a way, that's been great because even though I may be exhuasted I wont sleep during day. And as I said, I can go on and off meds so i dont feel they've screwed up my life. I go without them for months, even years. My dr's think it's possibly heavy metal (mercury poisoning) from the MMR vaccine (they put thiermosl in the vaccine) that has managed to disturb the sleep ctr of th brain. But they dont really know. Has anyone ever used or heard of using general anesthesia for insomniacs? Does anyone know if it has ever not worked?
