Hi Adrienne: thanks for your response. It is "right on" for me. My medical leave is 12 weeks. I am on week two. I have been working on sleep hygiene and going to the gym every day. I am also re-evaluating my career and high stress job which requires me to commute to the Boston area from New Hampshire every day and manage a large staff in two hospitals. I do need balance and time for creative explorations. I feel so fortunate to have this time. I am starting to feel some relief from the stress and getting more quality sleep. As of yesterday, I am eliminating the wine and staying with the ambien for another week, redcucing from 10 to 5-7 mg. Next week, I will try again to reduce. I am so heartened by knowing that there are others out there, like you to lend some advice. Thanks so much!
Grace
