I think this is one of the hardest things with insomnia, that there are just SO MANY different "..possible causes.." that pinpointing any ONE factor as the culprit is probably going to be an impossible task. It's more likely layers of different causes and effects which all feed eachother, and why certain means of attack work so much better for some people than others.

Heidi, it certainly sounds as if you have uncovered quite a few things which could hold the key to this puzzle for you. I just hope that somewhere in all of this you get some answers, and even more than that, some resolution and relief.
