yes that book was a huge turning point for me. i took trazodone every night, but only for about a year. it quickly stopped working at 50 mg, and i didn't want to increase it due to side effects so i weaned off of it while following the program described in the book. it took time to get back a normal sleep cycle, but it was well worth it. i sleep well most nights now with no meds. occasionally i take 1/2 of a .5 mg klonopin if i'm having a lot of trouble, especially during PMS.
you would also find jacob's book very helpful, although wiedman's book was the one that really movivated me and then i reread jacob's book and got much more out of it.
can't hurt to try it, it's helped many people on this board.
good luck, beth
