Self-Medication Techniques

Posted by Jay on April 28, 2003 at 04:59:26:

Hello everyone,

My GP once mentioned "self-meditation" techniques as a relaxation method to aid falling asleep. What was he referring to, anyone?

I am going through a bit of an annoying setback at the moment. Cannot find peace at night. This meaning I a) have trouble falling asleep, b) staying asleep, c) and my dreams are so intese I wake up from them. My anxiety level over sleep is increasing.

Any hints anyone? How do YOU relax before bed? Please share if you can...

Just for info: No, I cannot see my regular GP this week for various reasons.

Thank you in advance,

-Jay
