Dear Loops...Your husband is an astronomer? Interesting....I have been a student of astrology for many years, trying to complete a Diploma course from a well renouned school in London. Maybe you should seek some advice from an astrologer. I know the worst periods of my insomnia have definitely corollated with the cyclical transits I was receiving. Also my chart is prone toward heavy and frenetic mental activity.Knowing this is comforting to me, and feeling that here is a reason for all that happens. In the end you are still responsible for the events of your life, but knowlege is helpful in understanding the greater picture. On a more practical note, it seems that something is causing you to be fearful or anxious.Have you always had panic attacks? I have had times when I have felt extremely nervous or anxious over the years, but never had panic attacks. I assume they must be devastating. All I can offer is that possibly you seek a therapist, astologer or pschotherapist who can help you figure out why you are so anxious. I think the anxiety , as I have stated before is the master here, because even if other things may be causing the insomnia, most people eventually land up feeling extremely anxious about the lack of sleep. Then it is a self perpetuating, self fulfilling prophecy which will keep the balance and the mind body from acquiring the sleep it needs. I am glad you have
found out about the drug you were taking. It is amazing how many things we ingest in our bodies can eventually disturb sleep or other rhythms.I guess we have to always be vigilant. Try to relax and allow calming vibrations to filter into your being. It sounds difficult but it is attainable if you allow it. I hope you get some rest soon.Hope
