no sleep without meds

I absolutely cannot sleep without meds. I'm really scared, Will I ever be able to sleep again without them. I used to be fine and then one night I totally quit sleeping. I'm so scared that I have "fatal Insomnia", even though my neurologist says I dont. Please, I need help. Does anyone else have to take medicine to get to sleep ALL OF THE TIME?
