Try to not get upset. That alone can cause it to go on. It is good to try to accept it to a certain extent. Keep reading and getting suggestions from people here, etc. but accept it for the time being. Getting alot of rest can help to refresh you also. I relax 3 hours before bed and if I wake up early and I am relaxed, I rest more. If I am totally awake, I get up but sit down in a recliner until sun up so I get the rest. When I first had it, I was like you describe and I hardly slept at all. Finally, I decided it was here for life and I had to accept that and then started to sleep better.
