Conflicting Information

Posted by Guy on August 07, 2003 at 14:48:25:

If you go to Dr. Bob's psycho-babble site you will find lots of people with anxiety disorders who think clonazepam is a great drug. Indeed, this stance is reinforced by my psychiatrist who says I can take clonazepam until I am old and grey. Since insomnia is a symptom, not an illness, doesn't a lot depend on what a person's diagnosis is? Having said that, I want to add that I now wish I had never touched psycho-tropic drugs. Only after taking benzos did I become phobic about my insomnia. Also, 1 mg lost all effect after about a year and I had to decide whether to go up or get off. I decided to get off. I am on day four of no clonazepam...feel like hell but am hoping my sleep will improve in the days to come. Am taking Remeron to help.
