No, I did not test my hormones. Usually you can recognize the symptoms of low progesterone without a test, although there are tests available. I don't believe it is harmful to use even if your hormone levels are normal. But you could always order a test just to be sure. I'm not sure what the costs are, though. You could probably do an internet search and find out.
