Re: worsening symptoms during your cycle
Evidentally both estrogen and progesterone are low during time of the month you have a period. If you nearing meno perhaps low estrogen could be giving you 'night sweats', IF you do experience excessive sweating; also low progesterone may mean you sleep less well as I have read also at same source others here did, Dr John Lee's book on progesterone. The progesterone cream is easy to get at health food store, etc., to try it, 1/4-1/2 tea twice a day for three weeks and off one week. However, if you are only having trouble that 'one week' of your period you would use it differently perhaps. My guess would be you would use a small amount only during that week and make it the smaller amount of 1/4 tea? On other hand, perhaps reading the book would be better.
