Sonata like Ambien are for short term use.
Like no more than 10 days. I have no experience with Sonata but I have tried Ambien and found
that the required dosage would have to increase in order for it to put me to sleep. I quickly stopped taking it. For me I take the Xanax prior to sleep and only during the day when I have a "rare" need. I have found that if I could maintain a regular sleep pattern my daytime problems would be lessened but that is me. Chuck
