Although we all know it, setbacks are common for whatever the reason. Intense stress is a trigger. However, sleep returns for almost all who have experienced these setbacks in this forum. I also have stress in my job but I now focus as much on controlling the stress as the cause for the stress. Much of the stress is in our heads--although circumstances also contribute much to stress. Do you practice meditation or guide imagery or thought stopping? These are not perfect tools but they are tools.
