Cecilia, you did the right thing. Focusing on anything but sleep is the best. I also use tapes, focus on my breathing. If I really cannot get back to sleep, I get up and have some tea, maybe spend 10 minutes behind the computer (doing something fun to destract from what I am feeling about not being able to sleep) and then getting back into bed. Often I go back to sleep. Sometimes I have a snack and a couple of calcium tablets. heidi2
