Sleep Restriction alums

Posted by alex on October 16, 2003 at 13:29:42:

do any of the successful SR grads have any words of advice in terms of getting up every 20 min. if one is not able to fall asleep right away. I've set my sleep time to be 12:30-6:30, but can't fall asleep when i get in bed. After the initial 20 min. of not being able to fall asleep i don't feel like getting back out of bed and doing something.....i just want to lay there in bed! i feel that if i was to get out of bed, i'd never fall asleep lol. does SR really work?? thanks for the help. i read the Weidman book yesterday and am going to read the other 2 books now.
best,
alex
