Cecilia you are welcome!! Someone here said
that people say insomnia "is all in your head."
I have been told that also. When it was said to me I got a little flustered but after many years
I have found out that the statement is probably correct. Be it for "chemical imbalance", heredity, anxiety, depression or a combination of all of the above it is all in our heads. Part of the solution is not only finding the right formula for you; be it meds, therepy or natural remedies, we have to keep a positive mindset and not let our problem [insomnia] overwhelm our lives. Cecilia, in your posts
you seem to have that positive outlook and that is more than half the battle. The solution that I have found, for me, is pills. Do I like taking them? No!! But they are better than the alternative. I have tried just about everything imaginable with negative results so I take my pills and go to sleep about the same time every night. I have mostly good days but every now and then I still have my bad days [nights] but
they are to be expected. BTW, my daughter is 27, a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters and is on Zoloft. Mt son is 25, married and a licensed electrician and is on and off Zoloft. He needs to stay on it but he is "cured" every so often
and stops taking his meds. :-] He has to find his own way with that. In my family it is definitely an inherited problem and I was the first to recognize that anxiety/insomnia was not normal and I sought help. Life is beautiful!!

Chuck
