Hi Blue- I agree, try smaller increments. I have done best following Jacobs (SayGood Night to Insomnia ) - he suggests 15 minutes.

Alas, with 15 minutes or 10 minutes, it seems I can't get past 6 1/4 hours. Not bad, and I can't count on it , but I want more - want to be less sleepy in the day. A 5minute increase didn't seem to make any difference, but when I went up to 6 hrs, 25 minutes, i was awake a lot more. I've tried 3 times to go higher - with poor results. my latest idea is to stay at 6 1/4 a lot longer before I try again.

I just don't want to believe I can't get more sleep. And, strangely enough, the times I've forgotten to set the alarm I have gotten 15 minutes more sleep!!

Good luck
Judy
